What can I do to stop my computer from shuttong down my programs?

Ive recently discovered that some applications shut themselves back down appooximately 10-20 secs after I opened them, Noton Antivirus is one of these. These programs worked fine a few months ago but now they just will not stay open, there are no error messages, the programs simply closes itself. If you could help I would be very grateful.

You should run a scandisk (close all open programs, even the ones that run in the background, turn off Anti-Virus Programs and turn off screen saver before running scandisk) and defrag the computer on a regular basis.this should help Good Luck!
