IE Popups

Internet Explorer has somehow inserted itself into my taskbar and keeps sending popup ads (mainly telling me to buy a prog to stop popup ads!). Can I stop this, and how please. I am with aol.

I installed a free popup ad stopper some time ago, which seems to work fine, but could this explorer prog have slunk in with this, as it obviously doesn`t stop IE popups!

There are few programs that you might have installed such as Kazaa, Imesh, etc...these programs have installed a 3rd party software What might you want to do is check your installed programs by opening your Control Panel and clicking on Add Remove Prgrams, look for programs that you did not install Most common one is ( Common Name).
