I know you've answered this question a hundred times, but I couldn't find it on your site. I run scan disk and defrag each week. Sometimes the defrag runs in about 20 minutes, but the normal time is 3 hours. I keep seeing 'drive contents are changing' the defrag process stops and begins all over again.

What needs to be shut down before I do this maintenance? Or direct to the answer on your website. Thank you for your time. Kathy
