When we switched on our computer, the background icons and colour defaulted to different settings and the mouse would not work. We tried changing the settings and restarting the computer but would not work. We contacted Compaq, but they could not determine why this had happened. We experimented and fixed the display and the mouse, but when entering programs we continue to get .DLL error messages such as KERNEL.DLL. When entering MSWORKS, the error message states MSWORKS has caused an error in WKWBL.DLL. Problem with hard drive. We also recently installed new software and connected to the internet. What do you think is the problem and how do we solve it. Have we got a virus. Has there been software conflict. We tried system restore but didn't work. Please suggest what we can do? Thankyou.
