Why computer reboots?

everytime i play a game or go into playing games my computer reboots itself and sometimes displays a box and says critical error but mainly it reboots it self i have windows xp

Some games do not run (or do not run well) unless you install the whole game to your hard disk You may want to install the whole game to your hard disk to see if it resolves the issue, or improves game performance

If that doesn't wrk then check:

Click Start, and then click Help and Support.

Under Pick a Help Topic, click Fixing a problem.

In the left pane, click Games, sound, and video problems.

In the right pane, click Games and Multimedia Troubleshooter.
