I have 3 machines, 2 XP and 1 W2K Pro. Before rebuilding the W2K machine following a virus attach all networked just fine on my wireless LAN. Now I can't get the W2K machine to join the workgroup. Unfortunately the printer is attached to the W2K machine. I've tried to check local policies and TCP/IP settings but I can't see a problem. I've noticed that Kerberos is in use on some of the policies, but don't know if that's a problem. Can you help me get the W2K machine to join the workgroup?

Do the following:

Right click the my computer icon on your desktop

Scroll and click on properties

Once in the properties window, click on the network identification tab

When there you gonna see a option to configure your computer to join a workgroup or domain.

Input the name of your workgroup and create a computer name
