The black border on my Dell Trinitron display seems to be larger and a bit off center. I have tried the basic adjustments through control panel/display but the border stays? Can you help?

Your problem doesnt have to do with the display settings of your operating system

Try using the adjustment controls on your monitor.

Adjusting the settings this way should solve your problem
