Whats wrong with my ctrl+alt+delete and why won;t it take me to the task manager?

I cannot access my task manager when I press CTRL+ALT+DELETE. Why would this be and how can I resolve it?

When this happens you can do a few things

1) make sure you have the correct drviers installed for the keyboard.

2) Make sure your keyboard is good by switching it with a known good keyboard

3) go to control panel - keyboard and change the repeat delay and repeat rate.

4) Download a virus scanner and make sure a virus is not causing this problem
