I have had many problems with this computer, many times I get the blue screen of death. Just recently I was checking other hard drives with this computer (using the other HDD as a slave drive) but the last one I hooked up gave me the error "searching for boot record from floppy...

not found". "searching for boot record from IDE-O..ok

error loading operating system

I don't know what to do from this point, please help me!

Thank You,

Brian

If you do already have a boot disk for XP -Go to Bootdisk.com and download the floppy disks for Windows XP Boot with the Once booted with the disks, press R to enter the repair concel ther you will run two utilities.

fixboot

fixmbr

if all went well now type exit and reboot your computer.

if all went well your boot record should be repaired and it sould boot to windows
