Why does my pictures does not reduce in size after attaching ?

The new feature in XP to have Windows reduce picture size automatecly when attaching to e-mail does no work after installing some early service packs. ie. Click on Start Pictures, click on a picture, a drop down menu appeard with e-mail option, click and then another drop down gave the option for Windows to reduce picture size before attaching. This has happened to both of my new computers which both came with XP installed

Well u should just follow all instructons on the drop down menus that appear and if the picture does not change size check your configurations or it could also be that the picture that is being attached is not able to be reduced in size
