What to do to view cd-rom?

My cdroms doesnt appears any where <niether in my computer nor in device manager>.

This happened when i formatted my c drive and installed windos 98.What should i do?

Go to WWW.ALI.COM.TW and get the IDE DEVICE UPDATE this will make recognize the correct IDE CONTROLLER.

here you need to go and get the update this problems arise if you do not use the latest update some of them are for solving this kind of problems you might have old Ide device drivers.

you IDe controller should have the ALI name before it what you are using are generic which are not for ALI chipset.
