Shutting Down problems

Our computer won't shut down because it doesn't have the start button.

Since you say you don't have a start button then you should try to bring up the bottom toolbar someway with the mouse If you can't do that, then you should press ctrl-alt-del When the cpu is about to restart, turn it off.
