Ok you installed the cd-rom yourself correct? Did you forget to connect the audio cable to the sound card in your computer?

Very often people forgot to install the audio cable and ended up not receiving any type of audio The audio cable is a small usually black cable that comes with your cd-rom You must connect his cable to your sound card or motherboard (if your sound card is intergraded to your motherboard) Once you have accomplished this you should be able to receive sound on your computers cd-rom drive.
