How to find ip address of your computer?

How do I find the ip address to my computer? I recently buy a campaq computer and i have cable now you see? but me no know how to find Ip address. Please help me find a ip address

If you have a windows operating system go to start menu

after that click on Run

type command

You should see a command window pop up

Once there type ipconfig and the numbers next to IP address should be your ip address.
