How to resolve cookies are disabled error message?

Hello!

I need help with my computer. I think I mistakenly clicked "Invert Selection" while actually trying to delete "Temporary Internet Files". Now, I cannot log into my Hotmal account, as I keep getting a message, telling me that my cookies are disabled. How do I enable them? I've tried everything (friends' and the net's advice) but nothing works. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

In IE go to Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom Level.. then scroll down to Allow Cookies That Are Stored On Your Computer and check Enable and then under Allow Per Session-Cookies [Not Stored] do the same
