If you are haveing problems installing or running Msn nessenger then try the following:

Ensure that no other programs are running Sometimes it helps to close as many programs as possible before trying to install the program To close programs, right-click the program icons and select either Close or Exit

Make sure that your browser files from Internet Explorer are OK Other programs can sometimes write over or corrupt these files To run MSN Messenger, you may want to upgrade, reinstall, or fix them See Help in Internet Explorer for more information.

Make sure you have the proper permissions to install applications on your computer, if you're using Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP If you are unsure about what permissions you have on your computer, contact your system administrator for more information

(Corporate Users) Network administrators can disable MSN Messenger from running in their corporation or organization Please check with your network administrator to see if they have implemented this
