How do I delete Files?


How to delete a File that is not needed or that is not used. How can I get rid of these files?


This question was answered on March 26, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

1 Find the file you would like to delete (see “Finding a File” on the start up menu).

2 Be sure you want to delete the file.

3 Right click on the file’s name, and click “delete”.

4 This will put your file in the “Recycle” icon on your desktop.

5 To empty your Recycle bin, double click on the Recycle icon to open it; be sure you want to permanently delete all of the files in this bin; then click FILE on the menu bar, then click “Empty recycle bin”
