What to do when Cpu has no sound?

i have no sound and have checked speakers and reinstalled sound drivers. Help

I had a similar problem with my via AC 97 sound Turned out I needed to install the WDM drivers To do that I went into the control panel and selected my sound card and said update drivers Then I specified the location my WDM drivers were Hope this helps
