I have been having this problem for several months, it occurs mostly when i am finished playing games. these games are similar to counterstrike and soldier of fortune, so they can make the system work hard, but when i exit them and close the game itself my video seems to turn off. The monitor blinks and goes black then my monitor tells me check signal, this problem also sometimes occurs when i am looking at websights and i use the mouse wheel to scroll down a page fast. The problem first started to occur when i installed a sound blaster audigy platinum 2 sound card into my computer, my mother board has a sound card build into it, the mothor board is a intel desktop board D850EMV2. i have been told to reformat my computer and have but after the reformat the problem was still occuring and i have tried to reinstall windows xp, but when i try the video turns off and cant continue. i have no clue how to fix it, when i say the video turns off i mean it turns off and the computer is still running
