I installed a DI-604 D-Link router to share cable modem at home. My 2nd computer, a laptop from work no longer is connecting. I am using a VPN set-up and it worked fine for about 2 weeks.

I am getting the following error message, "Timed out waiting for tunnel server to respond during protocol negotiation."

Have I upset the "cable g-ds" at cox and have they set-up a block?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not shure but the VPN set-up Gateway A has a permanent connection to the Internet, and a static IP address (nice!) Gateway B has a dialup connection to the Internet, and is assigned a new IP address by the ISP on each dialup (not so nice!)

For the sake of this document, LAN A will have network IP's of 192.168.35.0/24 (in other words the machines in this LAN will be in the range of 192.168.35.1 to 192.168.35.254) and LAN B will have network IP's of 192.168.105.0/24 Gateway A will have an internal IP address of 192.168.35.1 and an external IP address of 25.50.100.200 (this is obviously fictitious!) Gateway B will have an internal IP address of 192.168.105.1 and an external IP address that changes each time we dial up.
