What is the Monitor?

For some reason the minimize, maximize and close buttons in the upper right corner of any application are "0", "2" and "f" respectively instead of the normal symbols. Also my pull-downs are numbers instead of arrows. The same with the scroll bars in some applications. I don't know what happened to make these buttons appear as they do now.

Resolution for the PC maybe too high Reset it through the desktop properties.
