What is WinXP?

this is in response to the 3-27-03 response form you in which you asked for an error msg no. and/or msg. there really is no error no or msg. what happens is that i download the windows update and do the install, at which time the dialog box informs me that the update installed correctly. but, when i go into the windows update screen and look at the installation history, it says that the install failed. this is in reference to microsoft problem known as Q329441.
