What is the Hardware?

The copying and pasting functions do not seem to work as well as they once did. In particular, I am having trouble copying & pasting between programs such as internet explorer and MS Word or Outlook Express. The function either takes a very long time or else it just hangs up entirely. I don't have problems copying and pasting within one program. I did not have these problems before a couple of months ago. Thanks for your help!
