1 IN ORDER TO ENCRYPT FILES ON XP FIRST SELECT THE FILE YOU WANT TO ENCRYPT.

2 AFTER THE FILE IS HIGHLIGHTED RIGHT-CLICK IT AND SELECT (PROPERTIES)

3 THE PROPERTY BOX FOR THAT FILE WILL APPEAR THE LAST OPTION WOULD BE (ATTRIBUTE AND IT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING: READ-ONLY, HIDDEN AND ADVANCED)

4 CLICK (ADVANCED) THAN SELECT THE CHECK BOX THAT SAYS (ENCRYPT CONTENTS TO SECURE DATA) THAN CLICK OK.
