CD Burner Properly installed?

CDRW not reconized Phillip 480 not listed on My computer but listed on Control Panel. Not working

This question was answered on March 31, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


Check your CD Burner's physical connections Make sure they're connected properly but first check that it is being recognized by your computer If it is not recognized by your BIOS then it will not be recognized by Windows

Check your jumper settings If your Phillip drive is sharing the IDE cable with another drive such as hard drive or cdrom drive then you need to make sure that they're not both using the same setting Example: If your hard drive is set up as MASTER set your Phllip drive to SLAVE.

This should get you on the right track.
