Printer settings

I am tring to install a Lexmark X83 all-in-one printer, but it will only print short text files. any large graphic file causes an error, "problem communicating with printer". I have installed the printer on another system with the same operating system, and it works fine. Any suggestions?

Go to your control panel

then click right click on printer.

Click on Explore.

Right click on lexmark 83x on and make sure default is checked.

Go to the properties and check your settings.

Make sure every is at normal.
