Why do I need Video Drivers?

I am using windows 98. I formatted my hard drive and reloaded win 98, when my system was

up and running again I only had the option of 2 or 16 colours.

Looks like you need the appropriate video drivers Easiest way to try to find it is by going to this website http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and letting the microsoft website autodetect it for you.

If this doesn't work then you'll need to find out the manufacturer of your video card and the model number Then go to that manufacturer's website and download and install the appropriate driver
