WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM WHYY YOUR HARDDRIEV IS NOT RECOGNIZED AS 1.96G?

i have a 30g hard drive and it only registers as a 1.96g what can be the problem

THE PROBLEM MAY BE WHEN YOU INSTALL THE OPERATING SYSTEM YOU PARTITON YOUR HARD DRIVE TO 2G

HOW TO SEE THIS

1 GO TO (START) CHOOSE (PROGRAMS) FIND THE (ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS) OPTION.

2.CHOOSE THE (COMPUTER MANAGEMENT) OPTION AND THE COMPUTER MANAGEMENT WINDOW WILL APPEAR.

3 THERE WILL BE THREE OPTIONS

A SYSTEMS TOOLS

B STORAGE

C SERVICES AND APPLICATIONS

4 CLICK THE STORAGE OPTION NOT ON THE BUT ON THE WORD.

5 ON THE RIGHT OF THE SCREEN 3 OPTIONS WILL APPEAR

A REMOVABLE STORAGE

B DISK DEFRAGMENTER

C DISK MANAGEMENT

6 DOUBLE CLICK DISK MANAGEMENT

7 THE SCREEN THAT COMES UP WILL TELL YOU HOW BIG IS YOUR HARD DRIVE

8 IT WILL ALSO HAVE A PARTITION SIDE WITH THE SIZE OF YOUR PARTITION AND AN UNALLOCATED WITH THE SIZE OF SPACE YOUR NOT USING IN THE BOTTON RIGHT.

9 THIS STEPS WILL SHOW YOU IF YOUR HARD DRIVE IS USING THE FULL 30G.

10 IF NOT YOU HAVE TO REFORMATED AND MAKE SURE YOU USE THE FULL 30G
