ok. my system is pretty new (3months) but i managed to install loads of crap on there that i didnt want. not knowing how to get rid of all of it i decided to reinstall windows xp home.

ok. so now i have a nice clean computer. but when i move an open window around on my screen it moves around very jumpy not smooth like it used to. would this be because i need to install the driver for my graphics card. if this is the case. could you also tell me what other drivers of problems i might have to sort out because of reinstalling windows. yes i am a computer idiot. thanks for your help.

1 THE PROBLEM MAY BE THE GRAPHIC DRIVER AS YOU SUSPECT TO TRY TO REISNTALL THAT.

2 ANOTHER PROBLEM MAY BE YOUR MOUSE CHECK ITS PROPERTIES.

TO CHECK MOUSE PROPERTIES

A GO TO CONTROL PANEL

B DOUBLE CLICK ON THE MOUSE

C CLICK THE POINTER OPTIONS TAB AND CHECK (MOTION) ADJUST IF TO SLOW

D IF THIS DOESNT HELP TRY DOWNLOADING THE DRIVERS FOR THE MOUSE, GRAPHICS DRIVERS FROM THE WINDOWS UPDAT WEBSITE.
