i have upgraded my athlon 700mhz Time pc with a new mother board & 1700athlon chip

& new power supply( & ddr ram). the machine when set up runs suberbly, but after switching off for more than say an hour, will not restart. sometimes it will appear to try to start & then die.

is this a software problem or something more complicated.

It may be something more complicated.

Look up your system setup before initialating Windows

You may alsoo want to check up on the the wattage and voltage of your motherboard and oversee the compatability to the ahtlon chip and your ddr rams cards.

If not compatable, it may switch off and possibly not start at all.

Also check your internal connections

Including power supply.
