Video problem

i use win 98... and in my color settings i could change it to 256 color by the changing the resolution accordingly... but today... in the noon it all seemed normal.... but later that night... when i switched on my PC.. the resolution had chaned to 640x480 and the color settings were at 16 colors... now i cant change my color settings coz i cant change the resolution...

i hope u understood wat i'm tryin to say...

please help as soonm as possible.. its beginning 2 bug the hell out of me....

Your video card may be developing mix signals, maybe by connection prblems.

Shutdown thee PC and remove the video card and re-attach.

If possible, change the slot (that depends on the motherboard)

Also, you also look into the properties of your setting tab.

Click on the tab advance.

Double check your set up, you may have to change.

Also 256 colors may require more bits and you may have to upgrade your video card.

You may want to check up on WIN Media.
