Answer

This question was answered on April 3, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

ANYY APPLICATION THAT IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THE COMPUTER TO BOOT UP AND WORK PROPERLY CAN BE DELETED.

FOR EXAMPLE:

AIM, MICROSOFT WORKS CALENDER REMINDER, PORTFOLIO ALL THESE APPLICATIONS ARE NOT NECESSARY UNLESS YOU USE THEM.

AN IMPORTANT NEVER DELETE FILES WITH THE EXTENSIONS SUCH AS INI EXE REG FILES OF THESE MANNER HELP START UP YOUR COMPUTER.

NOTE THAT EACH APPLICATION HAS ITS OWN EXE.INI FILES BUT WHEN YOU USE THE (ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS ) IN CONTROL PANEL IT TAKES CARE OF EVERYTHING ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CHOOSE THE APPLICATIONS YOU DONT NEED.
