I haved installed a wirless router on the computer that has the cable modem, and a wireless network card on the second computer. We have a firewall on the first computer that is hooked up to the router.

Do I need to install a firewall on the second computer that has the wirless network card?

the first computer is windows98/ the 2nd computer that has the wirless network card is Windows XP

Thanks

Michele Rando

The firewall only protects the computer you installed it in Some routers have a firewall capability, to be in the safe side i suggest you install the firewall in the other computer.
