Hi
I recently bought a new 80GB SEAGATE Barracuda 7200RPM Hard Drive, it works fine, and the only problem is that it heats up a lot. In an hour it is so hot that it feels like an IRON especially on the sides. So I asked the seller, they said it is normal, all barracuda hard drives heat up a lot. It is not a problem. But we will replace it for you. So I got it replaced, now the second one is heating up to the same extent. Both of these hard drives are brand new.
Please let me know if it is normal or it is a problem
