Anyone else have suggestions that I can try?

Hey

I formatted a PC a while ago, and reinstalled everything. Everything seemed to run fine.

However, the client returned and said a few games do not work anymore.

I looked and the games run the intro, one of the 2 the menu..but as soon as you want to start a game, it makes the whole system get stuck. Both games are low profile games (Lego Racer and Rayman 2)

I tried new Direct X versions. And also installing new drivers for it provided by ATI.

Both actions did not provide a sollution, and I can't think of something else that could be the problem, because I think it stops running as soon as 3D graphics come in to play.
