My computer does not reboot. The only way to restart it is to completely shut down my computer and then turn it back on. When I try to restart it, it turns off and then some of my drives turn back on but nothing happens with the monitor. There are no beeps or anything. Also, all of my RAM is not detected. I have two 256Mb sticks (should be 512 Mbs) but it says I am only using 256 Mb TOTAL RAM. Help?

One reason could be is installing both 256 Mb, Either check your SDR slots to see which one is working properly, it could be that one of the chip is not working well at all In that case it can affect some parts of your computer So check carefully with your computer again.
