Network must haves ________________ Troubleshooting Network Check

IP Address ____________________________Physical Connection

SubnetMask:_____________________________Configurations

DefaultGateway:__________________________Local Connections

DNS:__________________________________Remote Connections/DNS Connections

To find out if its the crimping what you can do is use a cable tester and or look at the back of the computer where you can see the connection fromthe Nic to the utp cable and look for a green light on both ends of the cables Green light indicates that the crimping was good.

Now if they can ping themselves then its not a physical connectivity problem or default gateway.

Check your subnetmask configurations
