What is changing the font size for incoming email text

How do I adjust a email( incoming) text to avoid being cut off on the right side, so it can't be viewed without scrolling it to the left. I know of no way to drag the email window to "spread it open" horizontally.

Prior to cable hook up, I.E.6.0 was just fine! What is the fix on this problem? Thanks David
