I'm having an unusual problem. I have a 60 gb hard drive with 22 gigs of data on it. When I restart it starts out with 22 gigs of data and slowly expands over a 24 hour period to fill the drive, then I restart, and it's back to 22 gigs? It keeps writing to itself. I can't figure it out?

This is a very unusual problem if this is a new hard drive i would recomend contacting your manufacture and letting them know about this problem because this is most likely a manufacture error If this is the hard drive that came with your computer then contact the computers maufacturer To find out if it is really the hard drives problem i suggest plugging a different hard drive to the computer and see if it does the same thing then it would be your computer problem if it doesn't do it then it would be the hard drives problem.
