Downloading ad aware

How safe is downloading ad aware from the computer..?

IMPORTANT!!!!!!

Only download ad aware from lavasoft mirror sites For example (www.lavasoft.de/downloads.html) It appears that there are copycats out there that causes damage instead of good Lavasoft does not ask for information when the software is installed on the system If your copy of ad aware is asking that information such as name and e-mail address be entered into software prior to installation, then you downloaded a software that is not actually ad aware, in other words copycat Adaware.exe is a scam and a fake, and can cause damage to computer So i repeat only download through lavasoft mirror sites.
