Are there any wiring differences between USB 1.1 and USB 2.0. I know USB 2.0 is backwards compatible, but I see cables that say USB 2.0. Are they really the same cable? My new case has built in USB on the front. It appears that this connects corectly to my motherboard. But currently I have no USB 2.0 devices. Lots of USB 1.1 stuff. Everything seems to work but I wonder if a USB 2.0 device would operate properly. Are the pinouts the same and is there any difference in the wiring. Also are USB 2.0 hubs any diffent than USB 1.1 hubs? I tried searching the web but was unable to locate anything that gave me a clue.

1.1 USB cable is different in acuracy than the 2.0 cable.

2,0 is a better cable but will operate on your system.

The signals are stronger and more acurate than the 1.1

Enable the signals to process faster.

Thje wiring is also heavly coated as well.
