1) Is there any advantage to making the pagefile (swapfile) greater than 1.5 X RAM quantity?

2) Why does having pagefile (swapfile) on multiple physical HDs, as opposed to multiple partitions on single physical HD improve speed?

Yes you can make the pagefile greater than 1.5 quantity to make it greater go to right click on my computer, properties, advanced performance options click on change and from there you can change the swapfile greater then the normal
