The Freeze Pane Option

If you are tired of loosing sight of Your column headings in Excel 2000 then you have come to the right place The solution to this annoying problem is the 'Freeze Panes' option in the program.

Would you like to see the column headings on your Microsoft Excel spreadsheets no matter how far down you scroll? Here is one way to keep the column headings constantly visible:

1 Select the row just BELOW your column headings

2 Click on Window (the menu option next to tables)

3 Then click Freeze Panes on the Windows menu

The 'frozen' column headings don't scroll, but stay visible as you scroll through the rest of the worksheet
