Why there's no sound from CD's?

I'm not getting any sound out of the CD's I put in the computer. What can I do?

This could either be from the sound settings not properly set up or the audio cable not properly connected Verify the sound icon is working properly Check the settings Then assure that the audio cables are working properly.
