I created a boot up password that wont work. I want to know how to remove it. I was once told you could remove power to themotherboard but that didn't work. Please hurry or I'm in deep S***!
This question was answered on April 23, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
To remove a boot password it is very simple you remove the little watch looking battery from the motherboard and leave your computer unplugged for at least ten to 20 min this will delete all the bootup information and make the computer go back to the original configuration of the computer.
