I lost my sound. The speakers seem to respond at start up as if they would work but windows media player locked up even tho I upgraded it. I have received messages that studio.exe is missing and I cannot find it.

Sincerely,

Herb

Thee problem is that you are missing a file and the media may not completly process.

reinstall the media or reupgrade.

That should install al files as well as the missing one.

Of course this is after you search for the file under Files and Folders.

Check the properties in the media settings.

As well as the sound properties in your control panel.
