I tried installing Picture It and it said I did not have a cd rom on my PC. I know I do, because I have had Picture It on it before and I have played cd's on it many times. I am thinking it is corrupt or missing. What can I do to find out what the problem is and how do I fix it? Thanks so much for offering this service, I hope you can help me. Phyllis Sherman

Well what you can try is restarting the computer and see if the cd works then If the problem is with just that cd and not with anyother cd then it is the cd the is corrupted So you might want to check out your drive with other cds to see if that is the case If your computers cd drive is not responding to any cds at all then you can try inserting the cd and open it with the run program simple by typing D:

the letter stand for the drive that you cd is in

this should open up a window where you can explore the cd

if that still does not work then you can try opening your computer and check the wiring going towards your cd drive if that failes as well and you still cannot get the cd drive to work then call the maker of your cd drive and explain to them your problem Remember you perform all these tasks if the drive does not respond to any cd.
