Why is it that I am unable to print from my printer connected to my network after entering computer name and password

Dear sir, i am using domain controlled using windows Nt 4,0 server. the nodes having operating system windows xp professional. i have a foxpro pakage which running on network. this is working on command promt. and for taking printouts we have to map netwok printers using net use command. my prolblem is tha when i tr to map a printer using net use it is asking me username and password for the computer on which the printer is physically connected.

for example

i type commant as follows

x:\ net use lpt1 \\machine1\lq-2070

i receive following message

invalid password for machine1

enter the username for 'machine1'

after entering username it ask me for password after entering the password i receive message

system error 5 has occured

access is denied

but when i log on to domain using administrator i am able to map the printer. i have given administrative rights to the user from which i am unable to map the printer.

will you please help me for solving this problem ?

It sounds like you may have changed the name of the printer and not remember what it is and also the password You may wish to un-install the printer and re-install it with different printer name and password.
