After installing a dsl cable modem, my computer went haywire. With the help of Dell we wiped out the hard drive. My internet works fine, but I have lost memory I can't reinstall half of the programs I used to have. My computer sais I have 1.99 gb capacity. Whre has all my memory gone and what should I do?

What I can recoment is to reboot the computer and redo the configuration chances are somthing went wrong during the rebooting process when you did it with dell Don't pannic thou your memory didn't go anywhere its just the way your computer is configured its only reading 1.99 Once you have rebooted the computer I am sure your memory will be back to normal If this problem occurs again after the rebooting process then i recomend giving the good people at Dell another ring
