Let Data Doctors be your personal IT department today

I backed up burned my data on a CDRW Drive and put the data on a CD-R disk. I was able to access my data before and then tried yesterday to access some files and now I get this error message of : Explorer caused an illegal operation in module crypt32.dll. What does this mean????

I can still open the other folder of files but this folder of files I get this crazy error everytime I try and open them up in my Word program. I hope you can help me out - Thanks, K.L.

If it is not opening on your computer you make want to try opening it on another computer if you can do that If you can open it on another computer extract it from the cd and save it somewhere else besides that disk Sometime the data on a cd gets "corrupted" its usually caused by some phycsical damage that has been done to the cd in one way or another You can also try to open the cd in the explorer window and try to extract the file to another computer on your computer
